CRA DAB+ network is sold out! Radio Blaník and other stations from the MEDIA BOHEMIA group are joining DAB+

"We are delighted that listeners will now be able to tune in to Radio Blaník and its sister stations on the DAB+ network. Thanks to this step, all the major media groups in the Czech Republic are now broadcasting their most popular stations on our DAB+ network. We are delighted that MEDIA BOHEMIA has chosen our nationwide DAB+ network for digital broadcasting. Listeners now have access to a truly comprehensive range of public and private radio stations, including those that are not available in the FM band," says Marcel Procházka, Director of the Legal and Regulatory Department at CRA.

All major media groups (Radio United Broadcasting, Active Radio, Londa, MEDIA BOHEMIA) are now broadcasting on the CRA's nationwide DAB+ network, which means that its capacity has been fully utilised. The network is therefore currently sold out. The only remaining free capacity for new stations in digital radio broadcasting in the CRA is in the regional network for Prague, Liberec, Karlovy Vary and Ústí nad Labem.

The CRA DAB+ network is divided into eight areas, which means that stations can broadcast different content in each of the eight defined regions. This is a commercially attractive tool, especially for private radio stations, as it enables them to target their advertising effectively.
