JOJ Family and CS Mystery Will Begin Broadcasting Nationwide on CRA’s Multiplex 23 as of 1 September
From the beginning of September, two new TV stations, JOJ Family and CS Mystery, will be available on Multiplex 23. By joining the multiplex of České Radiokomunikace (CRA), the stations will significantly improve their coverage.
JOJ Family and CS Mystery start broadcasting on the nationwide DVB-T2 CRA network today at 10 a.m. In the interest of maximum viewer comfort and to achieve the simplest possible reception, the launch is taking place in the form of simultaneous broadcasting. From the beginning of September, JOJ Family and CS Mystery will broadcast simultaneously on the current Multiplex 24 and on CRA Multiplex 23. Viewers can thus choose the network that suits them best technically and tune in to their favourite programs regardless of their preferred distribution network. Concerning the higher coverage of CRA Multiplex 23, viewers who were located beyond the coverage of Multiplex 24 will now also be able to tune in to JOJ Family and CS Mystery. The inclusion of these two TV stations within the CRA Multiplex confirms the importance of digital terrestrial broadcasting as a wide-reaching, free and stable distribution platform. Viewers will find new TV programs in the existing Test-1 and Test-2 test positions.
“Digital terrestrial broadcasting remains one of the key distribution channels for us, and the expansion to Multiplex 23 allows us to offer viewers even more reliable signal reception across the country,” states Mojmír Mlčoch, Member of the Board of Directors at JOJ Group.
“TV JOJ's interest in the dissemination of the JOJ Family and CS Mystery channels in Multiplex 23 proves that terrestrial broadcasting from the CRA digital network still brings broadcasters a strong audience base that they can reach with their programs,” says CRA CEO Miloš Mastník.
